Hobbit House Shenandoah VA

Loved our weekend here. We were able to get some hikes in during the day, come back to cook dinner and go out to skyline drive for some astrophotography in the evening. Of course we were able to get The Two Towers in to fully experience this house.

Hands down one of the nicest, coziest places I've ever stayed. Everything was beautiful and clean. When you get the fire going it gets nice and toasty.

YES - it is as awesome as you are hoping it will be! Charming and comfortable. All the convenience you want in a vacation home PLUS all the relaxation you desire in a hideaway cottage. Came w the whole fam (4adults+2dogs) for T-giving and it was a great experience. Easily cooked the whole meal on site. Neighborhood would be perfect for small kids (ours are adults :-). Read by the fireplace, soaked in the hot tub sipping wine, enjoyed a cigar at the fire pit, and strolled around exploring the fun surprises in the neighborhood including a dinosaur park, playground, kids kabin, paddle boats on the pond, and more. Top rated hiking trails a short drive.

Very cute get-a-way from DC. Perfect for 2 people. Highly recommend!
