Hiwassee River Retreat

Spent our 15th wedding anniversary with HRR! The owners have provided the perfect place for rest and relaxation. The property is adorable and they have put so much thought and detail into each visitors experience. The pics don’t do it justice. From the moment you walk in with the music playing, walking across the heated bathroom floors, to waking up to beautiful views it was all amazing. Thank you for a great anniversary getaway ❤️

Hiwassee River Retreat was everything it promised: peaceful, beautiful grounds, stunning views and an exquisite cottage with all the amenities! We stayed in the Beloved cottage and even during an afternoon rain there was plenty to do, music, movies, games, the hot tub, and oh that amazing view! We enjoyed the gift basket and the catered food in the fridge upon arrival. Ty and Cortney stayed in touch the perfect amount before and during our stay. They truly thought of everything you need for a wonderful get away. We will definitely return!

The 143 is a fantastic experience! As a solo traveler I appreciated all the amenities and even in the winter the grounds are dreamy. It was pindrop quiet the whole time and all my needs were taken care of perfectly. I highly recommend the catering and massage service partners. Thanks for a great stay.

My wife and I spent a few days here this week for our 38th Anniversary. Wow! This place is all that they advertise and MORE! We are already planning our next trip back. Ty & Cortney have thought of everything. We stayed in the Beloved cabin. So beautiful and the amenities are amazing! The sunset boat ride was beautiful!

Absolutely MAGICAL! The love these owners put into this property is obvious in all the little details. If you visit don’t overlook the suggested local favorites found in the welcome binder, every restaurant and attraction we visited in the area was truly as lovely as the retreat itself. Our whole visit from start to finish was perfection 💗
