Hitching Post Motel

Great little motel, clean and comfortable. Minutes from fishing. Grocery/supply store across the street for check-in and anything you may need.

For a very small town motel, the experience was excellent. Very clean rooms with Heating/Air Conditioning, small refrig, Microwave and small TV. Bed was very comfortable. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Fisherman come here with their boats to fish the local reservoir. There are also streams and rivers near by. It is a big farming community.

Only issue I had was that all the rooms were non smoking. But they did have nice benches and butt cans right out side the door. The room was neat and clean. They allowed dogs and only charge an additional $5.00 per dog.

This is a basically a location used by fisherman and contractors. It is clean and will meet your needs, for a place to sleep overnight . The owner was very friendly and knowledgeable. Minimal amenities. It is quiet, located in a very small town near Hell's Canyon

You go to the Hitching Post Grocery to get checked in, the staff were helpful, and the rooms were clean.
