Hitching Post Motel

I stayed here for a week-long December deer hunt. The couple that I was hunting with required wheelchair access, so the layout of this motel was perfect: spacious rooms level with the parking stalls directly in front of the door. We could either use the barbeque grill out front to cook supper, or go a couple blocks up main street to the Bunkhouse cafe. The owner couldn't have been more courteous and accommodating. This is a clean, comfortable place to stay in the beautiful Nebraska Sandhills.

The Hitching Post Motel was a wonderful place to stay! I rooms are clean and spacious. No road noise and the heat worked perfectly. Plus, the hospitality- top notch- Selena provide the best service.

Stayed here for 3 nights on a hunting trip, she was able to communicate over text which was a big help for me, very clean, full of all the amenities you need. We stayed in a 2 bed room and also the large room with full kitchen. Great little place to say. We checked out but said we may be back, we lost service for the day and when we got back to service she had text us and told us a room number that was unlocked if we need it. Very good experience!

Room was nicely laid out, bathroom area and shower was recently updated nicely. Room was clean. Nice hooks were available to hang jackets/cloths. Called to make reservation and the receptionist was pleasant. Location is great convenient.

Would recommend staying here 💯 - Selena was kind and friendly and helpful and the room was updated and immaculate. We will be back next time we are thru. 😊
