Hitching Post Lodge

I needed emergency surgery...I was lucky to be in Jackson Hole when it happened. While the hospital took care of me. Maria (sweet-boss lady of the lodge) took care of my 3 kids. She brought them food, ice cream, checked in on them. It was above & beyond...We were only suppose to be there 1 night but it took 3 nights to heal--she made room for us. The cabins with 2 bedrooms, kitchenette, electric RECLINER(-saved me), TV, etc.-were perfect. Not modern but it's a log cabin& the decor felt appropriate. You can tell the staff put a lot of effort into the property...it's cute! We couldn't be more grateful for Maria & her staff!! I would stay here again! I would recommend it in a heartbeat❤ thank you for your kindness!

A phenomenal opportunity to be within easy walking distance of St. John’s Health. I had to travel alone and have surgery and really appreciate the convenience and fact that the space was well-appointed and quiet. The only item I neglected to bring from home was a hairdryer but managed just fine without one. Yes, the cabins are older but well cared for and clean. There were very kind and comforting extra touches throughout my room including an extra blanket and a throw blanket that was like a giant sweater; this was much loved and appreciated recovering from anesthesia that made me feel ever so cold. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Older hotel but the rooms are clean and and comfortable. Very affordable and located a block or so from the hospital for convenience. Coffee makers in the room but bring your own coffee and filters, as well as cups. Also no shampoo, conditioner or hairdryer, so plan ahead. Parking spaces are a little tight. Staff is very friendly and accommodating! I would recommend if you have someone staying at the hospital.

Thank you to St Johns health for allowing us the opportunity to stay here for one night at a affordable price. Definitely they were a blessing to us, my Pastor need to spend one night at the St. Johns , we were just passing by to go see Yellowstone park when she got sick. All the hotels around this area are super expensive, thank God for St. Johns agreement with this lodge we were able to stay in and pay an amazing price for such an amazing place. Super cute, lots os space, super friendly service. Lovely town.

After hours service, midnight, helping my daughter and friend into a room after a hiking accident was incredible. They assisted the two until we were able to get to Wyoming to get them home. Could not be happier with this facility. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Nothing fancy, simple cabins close to the hospital.
