The Hull House is an absolutely beautiful place to stay! My husband and I stayed three nights here and were blown away. Every room is decorated with such attention to detail. We stayed in the Adeline Rose room. The bed is the best and most luxurious we have ever slept on! The room was very large and beautifully decorated. The bathroom is very large with a lovely claw foot soaking tub. The common areas are comfortable with nice seating for everyone. The kitchen/dining area was very nice.|There was a great selection of bagels, cinnamon bread and fruit. Also an assortment of coffee and creamer. We would/will recommend the Hull House to anyone looking for not only a peaceful good night's sleep but for a truly unforgettable experience!

Two century old victorian homes repurposed as a bed and breakfast and a flower/gift shop. Beautiful gardens radiant with history nestled in the center of the quaint town of Murphysboro. Exquisitely decorated in such a fashion that you are transported back to the Victorian era. Exceptional staff who are friendly, knowledgeable of the area and history, and who take pride in their work and business. Take a stroll through the gardens and courtyards, sit by the fire pit and relax, shop for local decorative gifts in the Apple Blossom store, or read a book in the parlor of the Historic Hull House. No matter what you do, you are sure to find yourself in love with the Twin Sisters (the two victorian homes) and the other amenities available in the Quarter.

This is my second time staying at the Hull House Inn. It’s always my pick when I’m in the area! The house is super charming with all of its character. I’ve stayed in Miss Ella’s chamber both times. The attention to detail in decor and keeping the house authentic is done fabulously! Theresa the owner is also super acccomodating—making sure you have the BEST stay! She is simply a call away. She has been a delight to work with! ||||The rooms are kept super clean, and she even provides you with ight breakfast options (fruit bagels juice coffee). This is also a great location in town. You can walk to nearby famous restaurants like 17th Street BBQ. ||||Make your reservation today at the Inn,||and you won’t regret it! Relax and enjoy all the charm! It’s fabulous to host events at as well.

I give this 5 stars, because that’s all that’s allowed. We stayed in the loft for two nights, we could have stayed a week. As soon as we walked in we were wowed. The place is so cute. They have 2 welcome baskets, the place is decorated so very well - it felt like a home. Full kitchen, 2 comfortable bed rooms, sitting room... everything just right. I never met the host, but communicated often - they were very quick to respond, very polite & I could just tell that they are good people who cares about their place & their customers. Next time I go to Murphysboro... I will stay here again.....

We stayed in the William Hull room. On the positive, the bed was very comfortable with plush top and good linens. The room was large and could move around easily. The negatives are No Heat! The weather had changed so the temperature outside was 45 degrees - only cold air through the registers, it was probably about 6o degrees in the room. We travel with an extra blanket and comforter and it saved us. The second big negative was no outlets. The room had electric lamps but they were aired directly into the wall so no outlet for charging phone. The third big negative was the breakfast or lack thereof - breakfast was a loaf of pumpkin bread and coffee that you had to make on your own. It's the first time that I have had to stay at a bed and breakfast and go out for breakfast. There were no or
