Customer Reviews
My Wife and I have been going here for 25 years, In my humble opinion this is the very best location and hotel on Kaanapali beach. The pool is huge so it’s a great place to lounge all day ( If that’s your thing.) It has an awesome pool side restaurant and bar that has very good food and it’s really affordable. It is literally right on the beach! The rooms are fully equipped with fridge, freezer, range and microwave and they are very clean. The shower is tiled and has the big rain shower head ( I’d rate it a 10.) The location is just a five minute walk to a food truck court. So you don’t have to blow your whole vacation fund on food. Right across the street is a small grocery store for incidentals. It has a great on premise gym and plenty of great underground parking as well. It’s just a 10
Don’t get breakfast package, they don’t serve breakfasts anymore, but they still charge you in the reservation. Also, they don’t refund that portion. They also don’t clean up the rooms unless you get a week or more, and they only clean it once. Some staff aren’t very friendly, like the towel guy. Nice views though and nice pool.
We stayed in the penthouse suite and had amazing views. We saw dolphins and turtles from our suite. Fantastic amenities on property like hot tub, resort style pool, activity center with table tennis , and just overall vibe is very nice. |They offer breakfast and owners get 10% discount. They have luau ion Tuesday evening and it is $99 for 2. Parking is available but space is very tight. |The downside is that they still have timeshare sales where they mislead people to buy the property. They even sold a unit to 88 year old. Really sad. So beware. |They have food trucks right outside the main gate for dinner and food is good there. Hotel is right on the beach and you can swim. Be careful though as currents are high amd no life guard.
My husband & I stayed here for a week. The rooms are ok with a full size fridge & microwave but the place is dated. It sounds like they are going to remodel but I'm not sure when. There is one washer & dryer on each floor so could use more. The pool is nice but they don't keep kids out of the adults only hot tub! There is a nice little mall within walking distance. The staff are great!
Here’s my only beef!!! And maybe this is just Maui vs Cabo and it was my first time. But EVERYTHING cost money! All the cool hula lessons, lei making classes, ect. cost money and that was super annoying. It’s very affordable considering what’s around you. It’s kid friendly but it’s mostly senior citizens visiting their timeshare. The beach is small but it’s literally right there! We went snorkeling from the beach (waaay beyond the reef/buoy and it was amazing! So rent some gear from the Snorkel Shop $35/week! Overall I would give it a 4.8 if I could and that’s just because I’m a cheap ass.
