Hilton Garden Inn Westchester Dobbs Ferry

This was the first time we've ever stayed here. We were checked in by Monique. She was wonderful!! Due to a miscommunication about our reservation (through no fault of the hotel, but the friend who made it), we couldn't get the rate we were promised. We were a little thrown off by this, but she was so calm and helpful. She went above and beyond to help us. She was able to offer a solution that worked. She represents the hotel well. Our bed was very comfortable and the room configuration was good. We would have preferred more lighting in the room. The older you get, the more you need light! The floor was quiet which we appreciated. All iin all, a very good experience.

This is a review to personally thank Sierra and Monique for making our stay fantastic! After reading all the terrible reviews unfortunately a week before our stay I was very concerned. Monique was the first point of contact and I was so glad to hear her voice after reading all the good things said prior, she got the ball rolling and eased my mind a bit - we were traveling cross country for Christmas and this was our first time trying a new hotel in 5 years. Sierra truly came through as the MVP - when the GM and marketing manager disappeared on me not returning calls or emails after offering assurances in person back in the fall only to make a bad situation worse in customer care. I have honestly never stayed in a hilton that had such absentee upper management for such a small local place

Clean with excellent customer service. Monique at the front desk ensured my comfort and scheduled me for a late checkout in the morning so that I could sleep in. Placed me in a quiet section of the hotel as I requested. I later saw her scoring a mother with 3 young children to their room. I appreciate people like Monique who provide service with a smile.

We stayed here recently while moving my daughter into an apartment. We have stayed several times at the Hilton Garden in Providence RI and so were expecting the same quality here. We were disappointed. The room next ours was occupied by a man loudly shouting his responses to what I think was a speakerphone call at 10 pm, which required two phone calls to the front desk before they took action. When I called them back 15 min later after he continued to shout, I was told that they had called the room and “he didn’t answer.” I had to tell them which room the man was in. I assume someone visited the room eventually or he got off the call. The lobby coffee station in the morning had one container of regular coffee, the top of which was filthy and had little barely hot coffee in it. It looked n

Positive: Location Negative: My room had many broken or cracked objects. And the fire detector was missing. Or at least the cover of it was. There was random hair in my sheets and the cleanliness of the hallways and upkeep was horrible. No bar staff and no one at desk on arrival!
