Hilton Garden Inn Solomons

Overall, not the worst stay, but not great either. It was clean and the staff was friendly, but the overall value of the stay was pretty low. We likely won't stay here again and I wouldn't recommend it to others.||Pros|- staff (cook at breakfast and front-desk) were both friendly and helpful|- hotel and room were pretty clean and well decorated; clearly renovated recently|- convenient location to Annmarie Sculpture Garden & Arts Center -- you can easily walk there||Cons|- sound-proofing wasn't great; we could hear the guy in the next room coughing so I'm sure my kids annoyed him|- breakfast wasn't bad necessarily, but the French toast was $15 was lacking -- probably should have went to Starbucks up the road.|- not great value with Hilton Honors benefits -- the Daily Food and Beverage cre

I hate to give this hotel a 1-star review but I didn’t have a good night’s sleep there. Why? The AC fan kept going on and off. There was no option to make it run continuously. I bet that the owners of the hotel don’t have their AC at home like that so why is it ok for their guests?. For light sleepers, people sensitive to sound, people with jet lag, people that is not used to it, the sudden changes in noise makes it harder for them to sleep well. Also when air doesn’t circulate it creates uneven cooling or heating in the room and the thermostat might not read the actual temperature where people is laying.

Positive: Location Negative: Hot water was not really hot like you would think. It was luke warm no matter how long you let it run

This hotel is ok. The rooms and hallways are worn and not spotless (our room had a hole in the bathroom door and the carpet was dirty). The breakfast selection is ok but not a lot of healthy options although the food they served was good. The breakfast staff (Dwayne and I believe her name was Laurie) were awesome and deserve kudos for running a one person show in the restaurant. Overall the stay was fine but due to the condition and cleanliness of the property, not up to what I'd expect from a Hilton Garden Inn. Location is great.

Victor and Dani are always super welcoming and have given me phenomenal customer service every stay. One of the best locations in the area tbh. Always relaxing and close to some spots for food (ruddy duck literally across the parking lot, no need to drive) Would highly recommend and already have recommended to others for business and personal stay! Thank you!
