Hilton Garden Inn Philadelphia/Ft. Washington

My recent stay at was delightful. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. The staff were friendly and attentive, always ready to assist. Breakfast was a highlight, with a good variety of options. While the Wi-Fi could have been stronger, overall, I had a very pleasant experience and would happily recommend for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

A very convenient location to stay at while doing business in the area. The renovations are going good and the rooms are well maintained. The staff is great, especially JAMIR at the front desk! However, I was not happy about them charging $4.87 for parking. I don't remember the last time I paid for parking at an HGI, except in the middle of cities or near airports. Not nice!

Our stay at the Fort Washington Hilton Garden Inn was wonderful. I use a wheelchair, and every member of the staff went above and beyond to make our visit comfortable. Julia greeted us at the reception desk, and she was so sweet, welcoming, and helpful. Our plane arrived early, and thanks to her, we were able to check into our room a few hours ahead of schedule. Jose, the morning chef, was equally amazing. He was pleasant, attentive, and kind—helping me reach items that were out of my grasp and bringing anything I needed without hesitation. Allan from engineering truly saved the day. He heard that I was struggling to get the luggage cart out of the room while managing my wheelchair and came right away to help. Positive: The person at the front desk that actually corrected the amount charged to my credit card. Negative: NOT my hair in the bath tub!. Disgusting dirt ring around bath sink drain.

My experiences are usually pretty good at this Hilton location. However, my last stay was not so good. The room was ok, but I found the following: The AC/Heater unit was super noisy. Maintenance was called and the issue was corrected by replacing 2 dirty filters from the unit. I found huge crumbs on the floor near the bed. The top of the microwave (inside) was extremely dirty with food splatter. The bathroom needed some upgrading and TLC as the floor around the toilet was cheaply installed and the stopper in the tub was broken. Although I really can’t blame Hilton for guest behavior, a few guests were extremely loud in the hallway starting around 1 a.m. Hilton can be held accountable for how hard the room’s entry door closes.
