Hilton Garden Inn Corpus Christi

The pricing of my room was very reasonable. The hotel is very nice, the room was clean, beds were comfortable, and the vibe in the entire hotel is very warm and homely. The staff was very nice, especially the night staff; they were accommodating and nice to talk with. I didn’t have the same experience with Janine during the daytime. She seemed frustrated with having to work with my re-booking of the room, and it seemed like I was bothering her by having to switch cards. In the end we made it work, but it wasn’t exactly a pleasant experience. The only complaint I could have is the “sheets” & bedding. Most hiltons/hotels have kind of switched over to the thin, sheet like comforters & the fitted sheet is constantly coming off of the corners. Overall though, I loved my stay, you can’t beat the

Breakfast was $15. Everything was not clean. Elevator and elevator doors. Bathroom was dirty in the corners. I sat in a chair and saw hair ties under bed. Someone spilled coffee on air unit. Large black scuff mark on the wall. This is the off season and they should be busy cleaning getting ready for Spring. Hard to get to hotel with road construction. Would have been nice if the hotel had a map of Corpus Christi.

Positive: Nothing. The hotel was not clean. The beds had mysterious stains on them (took pics to show front staff and had them come look at the filth of the beds and rooms), they were not very accommodating or professional. Negative: The cleanliness. The mattresses were disgusting, the pillows were all flat, we all woke with neck pain, the mirrors were chipped on the frames, the showers had tile that was broken/grout that was dirty. Toilets not clean behind the seats. Killed 2 bugs.

Room was not up Hilton standards. Everything was rusty down to the bed side lamp. One wall was covered with mold. The vent in the bathroom was packed with dust. The headboard was stained with water damage and what looked like another area of mold. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

ROACH INFESTED!!!!!!!! WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!!! Had to move rooms three times until we finally left before bedtime because there were roaches coming out of our bags. The front desk guy was as nice as he could be but couldn’t be of much help in terms of a refund or solution. Spoke to manager the next morning and she treated me so badly as if I was the problem. I couldn’t not believe the HILTON would have such a bad roach problem. To the point where we had to leave and sleep in my car. Still have not received refund and I will NEVER EVER EVER stay in a Hilton again. Disgusting!!!!!!! They were everywhere.
