Hilton Garden Inn Cincinnati Northeast

Let’s start with pricing. I called and was told $140. I booked online for $98. You walk in it’s nice looks well kept. Stood at the front desk for a few minutes before anyone showed up. The kid working was nice. Then they charge you another $25 for room incidentals. Walk into the room looks fairly clean until you actually look around. See pictures. Trash and dirt behind the tv stand that was pulled away from the wall. Toilet was not clean around the toilet was not cleaned the best. The coffee maker was terrible. Garbage and I think candy in the HVAC unit. Then I opened the fridge to find it not working and old food. The whole room smelled terrible!!!!!!! The staff here is phenomenal. I've got a ton of tricky dietary restrictions (vegan and celiac), and they went above and beyond at the breakfast buffet to make sure I was taken care of. One of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had, and their sweet attitude was a huge part of that. Also, when there was an issue with our room, they had us switched to a new one within minutes, and even checked in later to make sure everything was perfect. I hope Hilton treats their people well, because these folks deserve it!

I have been staying at this hotel 2x a year for the last 10 years. Staff has always been great, rooms clean, amenities great. Stayed there last 7/25, pool was not available, my 12/25 stay, pool and gym not available. First room on 3rd floor had low shower pressure, second room had leaky toilet, 3rd room was near elevator which I could hear and feel every time it went up and down, No football on tv channels for Christmas Day games. Staff was GREAT, but corporate kinda blew me off when this was reported. I have been a Hilton Honors member for many years and was disappointed no one got back to me when I reported this to them. Not sure if I will be staying at Hilton hotels in the future... ||Kevin g

SCAM ALERT - this place will steal money from you. Be sure that IF you book trying to use Hilton Honors Points that you DO NOT sign up for the breakfast. I made that $350 mistake and I hope that you don't. What a trash establishment for not double checking about that upon check in and instead stealing money from me and my family. We will not stay here or at any Hilton property ever again. I called multiple times and was told that only Matt could make it right, then upon calling back the person on the phone said that I had to call 1-800-HHONORS and that only they could help with a billing issue....
