I didn't stay here, but I walked passed this place everyday during my stay here in Hilo and it smells like pee. The pictures definitely speak for themselves. I'll let YOU be the judge, but book at your own risk.
Calling this place a dump would be an insult to every dump everywhere. No one to check us in and a guy shooting up in the parking area. Ended up stay somewhere else because no one even answered the phone. Refused to refund our payment. This place was listed as Section 8 housing. All photos on the booking sites are very very old. Stay away at all cost.
The hotel is a bit run down and in need of maintenance, but the room was comfortable and we'll appointed. The view is amazing. What made the stay was the wonderful staff. All helpful and pleasant. The clerk with whom we dealt with the most, Vel, is simply too awesome for words to describe. I didn't want to check out!
WORSE PLACE GO EXIST. They used false advertisement when booking. This is more like a half way house than “hotel”
We walked by this place 2 weeks ago and it looked like a scary dump! Customers beware.
