Hilltop Cabins

Just returned from a 4 night stay at Hilltop Cabins in Grand Marais. I have nothing but great things to say about the Location, Cabin, & Staff. The location is extremely convenient to the awesome snowmobile trail network in the UP. The cabin we rented was able to house 4 adults with ease and could accommodate more if needed. Beds were comfortable and all the supplies we needed were provided. Of course if you want to prepare meals at the cabin you will need to BYO. Staff was very friendly and always available if we had questions or additional supplies. I highly recommend Hillside Cabins; there are many other sizes and room accommodations available at their location.

Very accommodating! Perfect location for any recreational activity. Several different options to travel either into town or hit the trails from Hilltop so great location! Cabin was nicely decorated and super clean! 1st time here but not the last!

Grand Marias is the perfect location to visit anytime of year!! Picturesque small town on the shore of majestic Lake Superior. Centrally located for day trips anyplace in the upper peninsula. We discovered The Hilltop Cabins many years ago and always stay there when in the UP. The hosts are amazing and the cleanliness of their cabins and grounds is as superior as the lake that they overlook. Amazing lake views and we have enjoyed the northern lights on two occasions from this property. The comfy king beds feel like home away from home. We stayed in the Fox cabin, for 3 nights and it was great! It was super clean and well put together. Brett was very helpful we came in late at night and he came out to give us our door code and instruction sheet, as well as showing us where to park our trailer for our side by sides. It is a very peaceful area away from the town as it's not that busy it kept it very quiet; it is in a great spot giving you lots of option for things to do. We will for sure be staying here again.

We were at a winter business retreat. We used one big cabin for the meeting. I had a really nice room in the motel section. Overall it was a great location except for the blizzard. I bet this place is awesome on the summer and for winter fun and snow machines.
