I made a phone reservation about a week in advance for a room. When I got there around 7 pm the guy came out and said that I had not made a reservation, so I showed him the text message he had sent me confirming my reservation. He then changed his story. He said that the septic was backed up and the toilet didn't work so he had no room for me. He did not have an answer when I asked why he didn't call me if he no longer had a room. So I sat in my car and he stood there staring at me (I had to tell him to stop staring) desperately trying to find another room on a dark Saturday night in an area that I was totally unfamiliar with. I would never book here again.

Best little place ever. My boyfriend and I stayed here this past Saturday night (July 12-13) and it was so quiet and relaxing. There is absolutely zero tolerance for any marijuana smoking on the premises and if caught, immediate removal! It was really nice NOT having to always smell it in the air and in the bedroom. A lot of place allow that and being an asthmatic, it messes with me big time so I was very grateful for this place to not tolerate it. There are zero smoking rooms BUT ashtrays and seats outside every single door for the smokers to enjoy the scenery around while smoking. It’s pushed back off the road a bit so you don’t hear the traffic while inside your room, which was also a major plus too. The rooms are kinda small , our room is very clean , well maintained. Owner and the manager are very nice. If we need anything they are quick to respond and make it so easy to fix any issues that may come up. I highly recommend staying there . Perfect place if you like a nice quiet place , perfect for fishermen, and perfect if you like to enjoy nature.
