Hilliard Motor Lodge

The room wasn't what I booked. I booked a single queen room and got 2 queen beds. Not an issue for our 1 night stay but it wasn't what I booked. The pictures online are different than what we got. Old and outdated room. The towel shelf in the bathroom was pulled away from the way at one anchor. The cleaning staff needs to do a better job. Metal lamps in the room which appeared to be pretty old. Overall, it was just ok.

This is the second time I’ve stayed there and my room was immaculate, the staff, friendly, and accommodating, quiet, and a very comfortable bed. I would recommend this to anyone. It’s also very reasonable. Thank you and I’ll be back!

This is a very bad motel and the owner and management staff are very dishonest. The room had BED BUGS on the mattress. I went to the front desk to complain about the BED BUGS. The clerk never went to the room to see the BED BUGS or offered a different room. The clerk offered to refund my $100 security deposit and said I would have to contact Priceline for a refund. Priceline flipped the script and said I would have to ask Hillard Motor Lodge for a refund. I never received a refund either Priceline or Hillard Motor Lodge and lost all the money I paid for 3 nights! Their BED BUG policy is just to say they don’t have BED BUGS. Let’s see if Priceline publishes my negative review?

Do not stay here. The room smelled like mice, though we didn't see any. Everything was in poor condition and clearly hadn't been cleaned in a while. No soap was provided. The toilet seat was barely attached. And once we accepted that we'd have to stay in a junky place, we found a juvenile bedbug between the sheets and got out FAST. EDIT: They refused to give us even a partial refund, stating that the photo of the bedbug wasn't taken there despite the location tag showing where it was taken, even down to the room. Several hundred dollars down the drain, but still cheaper than bedbug treatments.

Great little hotel had everything that you need. The only thing I would mention is that the carpet needs to be changed in the rooms. Overall good experience.
