Hillbilly Hideaway ATV Resort

We have stayed at these houses multiple times and we feel like we are "home" when we come back for another stay. The houses are fully equipped including dishes, towels, bed linens, pillows, etc. You only need to bring your toiletries. The houses are always clean when we arrive and the owners are quick to address any issues that may arise. There is a nice community fire pit on the premises that is shared by the three houses. We love sitting by the fire each night and discussing our adventures with fellow riders from the other houses. You can't beat the location since it is just down the road from the entrance to Pocahontas Trail 10. Great place for largw groups. Tons of room and amazing fire pit.

This was our first trip to Hatfield-McCoy and we stayed at Hillbilly Hideaway. I cannot rave enough about our accommodations and the helpfulness of the owners. Others in our “group” stayed at other various cabins and resorts (at double or more the price) - however, they stayed more at our location than their own. While our unit was not as new as their cabins, it was perfect for ATVs and all of the mud we brought back from the trails. I can’t rave enough about Charlie. Great host and really knows the area. If you need something, they can either get it for you or help get it to you. They are awesome!! Won’t even consider staying anywhere else - and we will definitely be back!!

Never stayed here because I live in the area but, i was overheating due to mud in my radiator in front of this place. The owner went and got a hose and let me clean it out real good. Might not seem like much but saved my day and for that sir I thank you! Everyone says it's a great place to stay, plus its only like a quarter mile or so from the Hatfield/Pocahontas trailhead.

We absolutely loved it here. The owners and their family could not be any nicer. Charlie made sure that we had fun on Friday night by giving us some brain-teasers that we are still trying to figure out. It was nice to sit by the blazing fire pit (complete with pavilion & chair swings) after we finished riding. We also got Chris Sizemore to take us on the Outlaw Trails. I don't think that we will go without him again. We saw more on the trails than we ever have before. We already can't wait for next season!
