Highway 31 Cabins

Despite lack of AC and stove, which the website did mention, this is a great getaway. The location is close to many beaches and tourist attractions. The grounds are well kept, the cabins are clean and cozy, and the pit is perfect for a nice fire to help wind down after adventures.

Our stay was disappointing, as we constantly felt watched and lacked the privacy we expected from the host, which made us consider leaving early due to the unwelcoming vibe. The cabin had a charm but greeted us with an unusual smell as if it wasn’t cleaned properly. While the fire pit was enjoyable, outdoor privacy was minimal. Although the location was convenient to attractions, it wasn’t noted how close it was to the highway. The noise from the road was quite distracting, and while the rules were straightforward, the additional fees felt excessive. We understand that you get what you pay for, but it didn't feel justified in this case. This is our candid feedback. Just to clarify, the dogs never peed on any rug as they were with us the whole time. They are very well trained and disciplin

Haven't ever actually been here just drive by but it looks like a quiet nice nook to have a romantic night or jus some peace of mind and downtime. Check em out

We had such a great time. The big cabin is truly home away from home. The seating in the living room could probably be updated but it added character ;) the owner is really nice and layed back. Definitely would like to revisit. It was a great 1st vacation for my 2 year old. He loved running around and the swing was a nice place to just hangout.

This was a PERFECT getaway! The cabin was quaint and clean. Even though it was near a road, it was incredibly quiet. And the owners were SO helpful. They helped us with directions and even promptly mailed me my backup keys that I accidentally left in the cabin. We spent our evenings around our own, personal bonfire, sipping wine and listening to the nature around us. Even though we were in middle of nature, we weren't far from things to do and places to eat and shop. I only wish we could have stayed longer - but we'll be back!
