Highland Lodge

On a brutally cold evening, I saw the warm lights Illuminating from the main building and cars in the parking lot. I immediately pulled in and was greeted by a very friendly Hostess who directed me to the bar. There I met Morgan, who proceeded to make me the best hot toddy I had ever had. It was exactly what I needed after a long day and Morgan was exceptionally friendly and a highly skilled bartender. I live in new york, and I cannot wait to visit Highland again!

We loved Hihgland Lodge. Room and bed and furniture very comfortable, all is clean, staff is welcoming and friendly and remember your name. Food is delicious! Dinner choices available--our group of 4 had about every dish during the 3 nights we were at the Lodge. Breakfasts were amazingly good--loads of fresh fruit and home made yogurt and granola every day and then alternating French Toast, Berry Crumble, quiches, croissant souffles. Good coffee, hot chocolate and tea. Also cold cereal variety. Nordic trails around the Lodge are really fun and Craftsbury Outdoor Center with its trails is a 12km ski away or a 15 minute drive by car. Cannot wait to go back!

Just great overall experience, the property is beautiful and clean inside-out, with that good vintage touch on it. Breakfast was delicious. Staff were very nice giving great communications. In the morning I walked down to the lake nearby and saw the most beautiful lake mist!

We are thrilled with our meal. A few of us are gluten free and the meal was truly… incredible. No… legend - wait for it - dairy. The drinks, service and food were fantastic.
