Highland Campgrounds

Amazing find! It was so convenient that we could book online. It's rare to find a place to tent camp during RV season, we were so thankful we found this campground. We easily backed into the space and there are water spickets and electrical outlets at each site in the circle. Really an amazing place, will definitely be back!

We are really enjoying our stay here. It nice and quiet. If you like camping in the woods this is the best place to be. The other campers are not right on top of you. Plenty of space to spread out. Had to use the showers which were very clean and the water was actually hot. Very clean park over all. Unfortunately the pool is not open yet but, from the looks of it, it is very well maintained and clean. They have ice and wood for sale that is cheaper then going all the way to the store. Very friendly environment the owners are wonderful and they will stop by to make sure you are enjoying your stay and if you need anything. There was a thunderstorm last night and they came around this morning to check on all the guest and made sure everyone was safe and okay. Love it here!!!!! Will definitel

A great place to stay with friends and family. Quiet and comfortable with lots of nice sites. I really enjoyed the game room and the Vending machines even had a mystery button! Staff is friendly and very helpful. Also the play ground has a nice swing set!

The Highland Campground is the nicest, quaintest campground around for a small town area. It’s heavily wooded, providing the feeling of disconnect from reality. The pool is well-maintained and delightful to swim in. The cabins are always clean and give you that homely feeling while being outdoors. Ryan, the manager, is hardworking, doing his best to keep the campground up to par and is very personable and friendly. He takes care of his campers, making sure they feel comfortable and if anything happens he is there to make sure nothing goes awry. All in all, this campground is a delight to visit and I highly recommend.

Aug- Sept. 2025: Spent a lovely week at site 30. There are seasonal sites as well as overnights. Full hookups and good wifi throughout. Quiet campground. Wooded site. Weather was great. Warm by afternoon and cool at night. Friendly. Staff very helpful. 2023 Mostly seasonal campers. No one usually at store. Wish pull through sites were larger but it was private. We enjoyed our time.
