High Hill Resort Community

We celebrated our anniversary at Cote. The food was wonderful but the hospitality of the owner, soys chef and chef made the experience even better. We will definitely make the trip from Houston again.

I recently visited High Hill, and I was more than impressed! I had the opportunity to enjoy a five-star dinner at the Cote restaurant on site. Dinner was AMAZING! The Staff was extremely courteous. The house chef, Ryan, came out and introduced himself, and personally asked about our dinner experience. ||||The grounds are very well kept and maintained. The property features an on-site vineyard, outdoor fireplace, and pool. ||||We had the pleasure of staying in the Julep bungalow. The room was spacious, and clean! The in-room amenities provided were placed with extreme attention to detail. Also to mention, the personal outdoor space was a nice touch for the personal, complementary breakfast. ||||I had the opportunity to visit with the owners, which in return heightened my experience. What a lovely family friendly resort! Sharon and Jason Romano were on site during our visit and provided so many extra touches including a toy and stickers to our little girl at dinner. She loved the live music, a harpist who played during dinner. The pool is just lovely and the food is incredible. We were blown away by all the staff who went out of their way to accommodate us. Tyler is also very close if you want to make a visit. We would also imagine couples getting married here as the grounds and staff would be incredible to work with. Highly recommend!

High Hill Resort is a lovely surprise among the pines of east Texas. I came here for a ladies’ weekend based on a recommendation from a local friend. We stayed in the “barn suite,” which was casual but with all the right lux touches - towels, robes, bedding, etc. The customer service was friendly, attentive & excellent. We enjoyed a generous continental breakfast and then a day at the pool. This was a relaxing and beautiful weekend. We will be back - probably to stay at one of the gorgeous vacation homes with private pool & beach!

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you are looking for an adult getaway!! Beautiful country setting in rural East Texas. Last year I spent 6 days in Palm Beach at a 5 star resort. I enjoyed my time this year much MORE at High Hill Resort. It’s quaint and quiet with the most friendly staff, wonderful accommodations and the food is fantastic!!! The brunch is unmatched. Chef makes the most delicious scones I’ve ever eaten and the caesar salad with capers is unbelievable!!!! Not only is the food PHENOMENAL the owners and staff are too. An unexpected DELIGHT with the perks of a 5 star hotel/resort. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND for a weekend getaway for an individual looking to unwind, a girls weekend or a couples getaway!!! I will be booking another trip same time next year.
