Me and my family had a blast. Beyond fun for all ages that can go down on their own. Staff was friendly and helpful. Staff made sure everybody was safe and make sure they gave time for rider to get up before the next group went. Will be back for sure
This is a very fun venue. There was plenty of snow and the two hour time slot was more than sufficient to wear a person out. The staff was very friendly and helpful. If you're going for the tubing it's the last building to the left as you drive in and has its own parking lot.
PLEASE READ BEFORE GOING HERE!! If you’re looking for an affordable, enjoyable, hassle free, stress free, marijuana smell free place to take your kids to experience the slopes, don’t waste your time here because Hidden Valley ISN’T it. After spending close to $600 on tickets to take 4 people to Hidden Valley we show up at open not only to be punched in the face by marijuana smell everywhere in the parking lot but also to see industrial snow machines running, no where when purchasing our tickets did we see this was going to be happening so we figured this was going to be a temporary thing at open but to our surprise and many others who spent hundreds if not a thousand or more for a fun filled family day had their day cut short hours before close because these machines that spit ice in your
3-stars, not because it’s not a huge mountain out west; I don’t expect that. I don’t even want fancy facilities or nice lifts, 3-stars because I think Vale resorts is operating too profit-first when it comes to snow making. The snow melts, is patchy, and skiers are bottlenecked, and if there’s enough snow to keep skiers on the mountain, they don’t make snow, even when temps allow. All that said, I’m grateful for our little hill and am happy for a simple day on the slopes.
Fun place to go. Snowboarded here 3 times. For Midwest skiing/snowboarding, this is a good choice. So there is a beginner area and 2 green hills, the main run is a blue and it's pretty nice overall. Prices can be a bit steep but, remember , they make almost,if not all, the snow. You will have a good time
