Hidden Springs Campground

I absolutely loved this campground. It's beautiful and serene, and the rangers at the check-in hut were kind and gracious. I only stayed for one night so I didn't do a lot of exploring in the area, but the grounds themselves are absolutely gorgeous. Sun-dappled shade with birdsong makes for a wonderful setting. The bathrooms are incredibly clean and there are flush toilets and showers which is amazing. The sites all look good, I did see a few sites that were on a bit of an incline but I'm guessing that is noted in the reservations so keep an eye out for that. I tried to take photos of several of the camp sites that were empty as I took a walk around so I've included those as well. I stayed in site 7 which is towards the front entrance. I never heard any cars from the road or anything, but

Our family trip to California’s Redwood Forest was one of the best experiences we’ve had. The forest was absolutely stunning — so peaceful and full of fresh air. Redwood forests are known to be rich in oxygen because of the incredible photosynthesis process these giant trees carry out. You can really feel the difference when you’re surrounded by them! My parents especially loved walking under the towering redwoods — it felt so calm and alive. The campsite was great too! Each site had its own fireplace, picnic table, and storage space. The public restrooms were clean and had showers, which made everything super convenient. We’d definitely love to go back again!

It is a great campground in the middle of the redwoods for the "roughing it" experience. The road to some of the camp sites becomes a bit treacherous for smaller cars, but if you drive slowly, it isn't a problem. There's showers and bathrooms close to most sites. The sites themselves afford enough foliage to be private, large enough to accommodate a large tent (10 person+) or several small ones. It's also close to great hiking and river trails.

Tried to stay for one night, ended up staying for four nights. One of the most beautiful campgrounds. Facilities were super clean and I love that each site is unique. Cheyenne was THE best and sweetest ever and helped us reserve our spot every day. She was the cherry on top of our stay. THANK YOU GIRL!

Gorgeous campground right next to Avenue of the Giants. Our site 5 was RIGHT NEXT to the Avenue and truckers seem to know we're there and use loud engine noises even tho its an extremely flat and straight area. Typical locals. So just avoid this side of the campground if possible. Site 5 is VERY hard to pack and unpack as it has a very steep hill with no safe steps and many tree roots to fall on. Noticed several sites are like this. Weird and strange parking barriers in the parking area are another fall hazard and VERY hard to see at night. The site itself is beautiful and secluded even tho other sites are very close. Showers are .25. Bathrooms are nice with large wash tubs for laundry or dishes. Lots of swimming areas close by. Cute town close by with great Coffeeshop.
