Hickory Hills Resort

We rented for two months. It was dirty when we moved in. My wife's foot was impaled by a fishhook. The shower repeatedly flooded because they used some paint or caulking for the floor that isn't meant to be used. The septic tank had a leach field issue so the ground is soggy all around the cabin and it smells foul constantly. Not a resort or even reasonable accommodation. My wife and I were nothing but kind and considerate toward her and all the other tenants during our very short stay. Donna said she would be reasonable when it came to the deposit being returned. My wife spent FOUR FULL DAYS cleaning and it was absolutely far cleaner than it's likely ever been there. She took $200 out of my deposit! Very nice place and helpful people! Cottage is clean, has everything you need! Just bring clothes and food! Would go back again when we get a chance. Close to Norfork Lake. Decent price! Enough room to park a boat. My husband had a wonderful time fishing! Thank you Mrs. Donna for everything. We loved it. Hopefully we can come back again soon!

Its Great we love staying here. Mrs Donna is great. She goes outta her way to help anyway she can with your stay. We will definitely recommend it to family and friends. You will love cabins! Beautiful place to stay with everything you will need in cabin, and very clean.

Greg and Donna (owners) will treat you like extended family at Hickory Hills. They are very willing to do whatever it takes to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Our TV didn't work properly. Greg had a new one for us in 10 minutes. No questions asked. We needed to fax a document and Donna was kind enough to allow us to use hers in the office. ||Our cabin had a newly built deck that overlooked the back part of the 5 acres that Hickory Hills sits on. There were no leaves on the trees when we stayed, so if you looked closely you could make out the water of Norfork Lake. One night while we were sitting on the deck enjoying the evening Greg brought us some of Donna's specialty chocolate cake iced with chocolate frosting that included nuts. Hickory hills resort is absolutely lovely. Mr and Mrs. Meng are the sweetest people, they go above and beyond to make you feel at home. We've been here for 3 months with no plans on leaving soon. If your looking for a great getaway or stay i highly recommend hickory hills.
