Such great amenities & communication! I came here with a family of 5 all ages and everyone was delighted with this place and everything it offered! This was the best stocked stay we have ever experienced. The host supplied many spare items commonly needed. Kayaks, Bikes, Fire pit, yard games, canal access, all not far from a park - we couldnt ask for more!

UNLESS YOU WANT TO STAY AT A SILENT LIBRARY – DO NOT STAY HERE! This is probably the first time I have ever had to leave a bad review, and certainly the first time I have ever had an issue with a host at an AirBNB. I usually get raving reviews from the hosts as I try my best to be respectful everywhere I stay. From the start, the host made everything difficult, constantly citing “Airbnb policy.” My mom was transparent that she booked for a girls’ trip (a low-key bachelorette—seven women in our 30s, two of them pregnant). We were respectful, kept music on a toddler (yes, literally) speaker at low volume, and were well within the stated guest limit, yet we still received late-night noise complaints. We asked to arrive early so we could decorate for the bride before the bride arrived and she said she she needed a weeks notice for an early check in but she would allow it if we paid $50. I have checked in early to multiple Airbnbs with no fee and no notice. There are sound detectors throughout the entire house which I already think is an evasion of privacy, you also have two cameras on the outside of the home which the owners can watch you at any time. This was, hands down, the worst hosting experience I’ve ever had and it completely derailed what should have been a joyful bachelorette weekend. From the moment we booked, everything felt rigid and unfriendly. We simply asked to check in a little early so we could decorate for the bride. Instead of a simple yes or no, we were told we needed a week’s notice or had to pay $50. In years of using Airbnb I’ve never been charged or hassled like that. We recently stayed at Hernando Hideaway and I wanted to say that my entire family ages 7-75 had one of the best vacations in their life! The communication from the owner Josie was exceptional! I’ve worked in customer service for over 30 years and Josie provides some of the best customer service I have ever seen! Her emails are fast and detailed. The house itself has everything you need. A coffee station with K cups provided, starter condiments in the fridge, a huge variety of cookware, plates, cups, laundry detergent, s’mores kit, snacks, extra tooth brushes, toothpaste, etc… The house is clean and beds are comfortable.
