Room was adequate. Great television with satellite but not what we were there for. Used the room with kitchenette rather than the two beds. Kitchenette is only stove, microwave and refrigerator. No cooking utensils or flatware. So, borrowed a couple pans from the managers. The bed was a double so sleeping with two was really a problem. It was really noisy with no insulation, but hey, didn't sleep long and was hunting. Better than a tent which was the other option. Owners seem like nice people, just a older hotel.

Called to check on pricing he "d me $70 for the night on a Tuesday night in the off season. I asked him very politely if he could do any better on the price and not only did he not respond he ghosted me and just it's like he set the phone down and walked away. When I call back to try and make the reservation he would not answer my phone. After driving all day and being over budget on my trip I had to drive an extra hour and 15 minutes to find a place to spend the night because he wouldn't answer my phone and I was parked out in the front of the place.

Dubois, Idaho is one of those very small western towns way between more populous areas. This small motel is family owned and the proprietors are polite, friendly, helpful people. My room was neat and clean with a very comfortable bed with good linens and pillows. The bathroom was basic, but clean, with a shower, but no tub. One unit has a kitchenette. There is basic satellite TV, but no Wi-Fi. While there is no on-site breakfast, the fuel station/store/restaurant a few blocks away has delicious home made breakfast biscuits, good coffee, and free Wi-Fi. Iif you are a weary traveler or worried about continuing on because of weather, this is a quite acceptable non-chain motel to stop at. Price with tax was less than $50. A neat shop in town to visit is the Dubois & Company, across

I had reserved a room two months before I needed it. I knew we would be arriving fairly late so I told them I would call that evening to let them know when we'd be arriving. When I called at 8:30 and said we'd be there before 10:00, I was told my reservation had been cancelled and there were no rooms available. Fortunately I was able to contact a motel in Dillon, MT (approx. 100 miles away) and they were able to make me a good deal on their last room available and would be able to hold it until we arrived at 11:30.

I stayed three days and had a kitchen while hunting in the area. Not real clean in the corners, the bed is average but a little hard. The shower was really small and couldn't really bend over to wash and the water pressure was really high. Would only stay their again only because there isn't anything else around except the hotels in Idaho Falls.
