Heritage Homestead Inn

A really nice refurbished house. Several access points. One driveway that is hard to spot after the sunsets. I stayed in a master bedroom wiht a large bathroom. The central air was off, so luckily I packed some sleep clothes. It was all externally controlled from contacting staff to locking mechanism. The traffic on 900E slowly gets quieter after 10 pm., as during the day, there are 18 wheelers, heavy diesel tractors, and trucks that could be heard in the house as the house is thin walled. The touch keypad was interesting, make sure to follow the instructions. I did not use the wifi or the jacuzzi tub. There is a mennonite community in the area, so watch out for the horse and buggies.

We enjoyed our stay at Green Gables several years ago. Top notch!||Mom needs handicapped accommodations so we were given the straight in approach basement. ||We want to do it again.

Due to a unexpected death In my family, I needed a place to stay near Crane. My sister found this lovely little B&B. They were very accommodating and flexible with me as I added rooms for my family and extended my stay multiple times. The rooms and bathrooms were large. The breakfast was good - her fruit salad was delicious. She even had some toys for my 3 yr old grandson. Thank you to Naomi for a making a difficult time easier.

Beautiful setting, peaceful, and well-kept. The home was very clean and owners were accommodating and friendly. Breakfast was great as well. I sat out on the covered front porch and watched the Amish go by in their horse-drawn buggies. A really nice pond is on the property. Very nice experience and I will stay here again in the future.

The B&B was exceptional. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was excellent and big. Snacks, coffee and water were available in an upstairs sitting area. Large selection of videos available. The location was in an Amish area with many buggy's on the road but very large shoulders for them to travel without impacting car traffic. Very pleased with our night there.
