Incredible Experience at Sportsman’s Lodge – Oak Island! From the moment we arrived, the team at Sportsman’s Lodge made our stay unforgettable. The staff were absolutely top-notch across the board—friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Special shoutouts to Sierra, Aleshia, and Darla—they went above and beyond in the bar, restaurant, and housekeeping. They always had my red wine ready for dinner and kept the drinks flowing! Fishing was phenomenal! Dave, our guide, was outstanding—knowledgeable, patient, and clearly passionate about what he does. He knew all the best spots and made sure everyone had a great time on the water. We caught plenty and had a blast doing it. Bailey is also an amazing guide if you want to target big fish! Fantastic trip! One of the best fishing trips I have been on in years. Lisa was a tremendous guide who got us on the fish for 3 days. We caught many over 21" including 2 = 27" & a 28", also caught huge jumbo perch & crappies. The rooms were comfortable & food was great. The servers Darlene, Sierra, & Megan were great and Wyatt did every thing to make sure our stay was a success. We have fished LOW many times. This was the 1st time at Sprotsman's on Oak Island & definitely will be back.

Very great place to stay. Darla in the lodge was great at making sure we were taken care of. The guides were very useful and made sure we were all good and happen about where we were fishing.

An unforgettable experience! I had an amazing stay at Sportsman’s Oak Island Lodge. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. The lodge is clean, cozy, and perfectly located with beautiful views of Lake of the Woods. The fishing was top-notch—our guide, “Smiley” really knew the spots and made sure we had a great time out on the water. After a day of fishing, it was great to come back and relax with a delicious meal and good company. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable getaway up north!

This place is simply the best! They’re all respectful with great attitudes. The food is delicious and the guiding is phenomenal. The fishing is just outstanding. Highly recommend!
