Halloween Weekend was Wonderful! We are staying seasonal and we enjoyed the trick or treating made friends with the kids and family’s next door. Service for food is kinda slow but I understand it’s a old man working there, Kids got lots of candy, Haunted Hay Ride was amazingly good they said next year they will do even better and on the Haunted Hay Ride you got Spaghetti threw at us very funny and costumes were great! Crafts were great only for 1$ and Ice Cream Social is soon I bet we will have even more fun! Loved this place DEFINITELY buying seasonal at site M 24!
People will not have common courtesy for your family while you are relaxing at your camp site. They will talk loud and not care if your kids are asleep. Even though there is quite hrs. Up until that hour. Nothing but alcoholic and kids that are not parent supervised. Owners were nice their son was rude. His alcoholic friends hang out spot if you will. Not a family oriented spot. Nothing online is correct for that facility other then family privately owned. Food took a long time which owner did apologize for which we are fine with it was a frid night and anywhere is usually busy that day no matter where you go. We are not going back there to camp. So we still are in search of nice clean camping. Missouri camping is much better.
Firstly, I would not recommend the trailer where they gave because it was so OLD. dusty , spiderwebs, limited kitchen supplies, it's just an old trailer and small for my family. Secondly , the location is a star. Family friendly place. Clean . $6 for wood bundle . They got gold cart you can rent , mine was 50$ a day. Fishing pond catch &release. If only trailer was newer that they can give me. I'd come back.
Area is nice but not maintained. Could be a beautiful campground but is not. Pool was closed during our stay for maintenance but no one was around working on it. Laundry room was also closed for maintenance and again no one ever working in there. Big fire started near our camp site so had to check it out. It appears, they are tearing down old trailers and burning the debris near camp sites. Carpet, flooring, furniture and other building materials burning and putting out poisonous gasses and black smoke. The septic system makes the entire area smell like sewage. The last day couldn’t end without another disappointment. Even though there was only about 8 non seasonal campers, the dump station was filled. When asked what we were suppose to do about dumping our waste. Their reply was “I don’t
We rented one of the few campers that they had. Reasonably priced per night and very clean. Will definitely consider this site again!!
