Heise RV Park

My wife and I wanted to get away for a quick weekend camping trip and we decided to settle on camping here. It was our first time here and I would definitely come back! First of all, the view from our campsite was absolutely beautiful. We were right along the river. It was so peaceful to sit by the fire and take in the view. Second, all the staff we interacted with were so incredibly friendly. They made us feel very welcomed and cared for. The campground overall was kept in very good condition. It’s also in a great area as they have the hot springs, golf course, campground, and even a pizza parlor all in the same place. 10/10 would definitely stay here again.

Camped 3 nights. Pros: Nice setting in tall trees with grass all around the camp sites. Showers (paid), and hot spring access (paid) 5-7 minutes walking away with a pool. Cons: ABSOLUTELY NO PRIVACY. There were 15 trailers and 20 tents within 300 feet of us. They pack you in like sardines. and it’s not even in the mountains.. (in my opinion) it’s at the very bottom of the canyon road.

Camping was great. Most spots have lots of grass and shade. It was quiet and enjoyable. We will be back. Highly recommend.

We stayed in the RV park near the hot springs. It was very nice. We were there in the third week of September. There were only two or three other RVs at the time. This made it very peaceful and quiet. The park is a very grassy area making it very nice to walk my 2 little dogs. The hot Springs are very close, it felt so good to soak. The pizza is a short walk across the street, and very tasty. We found Everyone to be very friendly.

Very beautiful, clean, and green . Swimming is wonderful. Bear world is close. Grass is very nice for tent people. Will stay here again. Nice people to deal with.
