Heartland Country Resort and Lodge

We had such an amazing experience staying here! Beautiful, quiet place. The jacuzzi was a great way to relax. We love all of the animals, especially Humphrey the camel. The owners were so friendly and made us feel right at home.

This was a great place to stay. The room was just right with everything I needed away from home. The grounds were full of animals for your enjoyment. The hosts checked in on you to make sure you had everything you needed. Highly recommend this establishment for families and friends.

This place is a hidden gem. I absolutely loved it here and was sad when it was time to leave. I enjoyed all the animals and the owners are the nicest people. I would recommend this place for a nice quality and quite getaway. I will definitely go back for sure.

What a sweet little place in the middle of nowhere! We were in Marengo for a wedding and couldn’t have been more pleased with Heartland. It was clean, quiet and perfect! The animals were such a treat too! How often do you get to pet a Camel?!! Humphrey was the cutest! Would highly recommended!! Thank you for the wonderful, relaxing stay! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We loved our stay at Heartland! The location is gorgeous and quaint, and the rooms were very clean. They even had a binder with things to do nearby! Huge jacuzzi tub also-would stay again!
