Hearthstone Inn

So i booked through booking.com i had a family emergency that unfortunately canceled my travel plans. I followed booking.com cancelation procedure. Last minute i know but circumstances were what they are. I never recieved a email or call from the hotel and they wouldnt take my call. I sent them an email as well. I could see a cancelation fee needing to be paid but to not contact me in any effort to work something out is shady and lousy business.

Great room.. very clean and the nicest owners. Definitely worth the stay if you are ever in the area!!!

Had to plunge toilet every time we went. Fight outside. Desk person when checking out didn't speak English. Room was not clean enough for $92 a night. Curtains hung by 1 ring. Stood on a chair and fixed it myself so we could have privacy. Desk people didn't give a crap. Breakfast was protein bar and re used coffee grounds for coffee.

Love the local places. My parents had stayed here every time they visited my sister. So when it was graduation time, dad wanted to stay here. It was clean. Inside and Outside. I would venture to say they are new owners and everyone that I came in contact with was in the family. Very nice. Courteous service. I seen cereal, juice, milk and coffee in foyer for breakfast, but we had other plans.

first stayed at the hearthstone mid May. A week before school ended due to having a new trailer put on my land. I had requested a non smoking room due to the fact that I do not smoke and have 2 autistic babies. The non smoking room was fantastic. Nice and clean. I only booked for a week at that point because I didn’t know how long I would be there. Once the week ran out and I paid for more days they moved me and my kids to room 102. A smoking room that smelled worse than diving head first into an ashtray. Upon entering the room (I had no clue it was a smoking room at first due to the door being wide open when i moved myself and my kids into it) a roach fell in front of my face onto the floor.
