It's a rough ride coming in, don't bring your car, I had some trouble in my truck, recommend 4x4. The campground was cool. Wish I had been able to spend more time, going back to fish the lake.
Nice quiet little get away. It was interesting to have the little covered area. Kids can have a place to play.. use it for storage staging for coolers. Big enough for a tent too
Neet little place! Never new, just stumbled upon this place but what a great idea... $10 night and you have basic shelter, water, seating and a fire pit, pretty cool for the 4x4's coming up from lake pleasant...
Had the entire campground to ourselves. Not maintained any longer by the forest service but it is still clean. Restroom is nothing but an outhouse but had toilet paper and didn't stink too bad like alot do. Small lake about a half mile away. Please pack your trash out and keep this place clean! And please drown your campfire in water before you leave.
This campground is free. I went on a Wednesday and there was no one there. It is clean and the shelters are in good shape.
