Hawthorn Suites By Wyndham Kingsland I-95/Naval Base Area

Walking in the lobby looks very nice initially, but has mildew smell. Staff was friendly and I believe they do the best they can with what they have. I believe the room was cleaned at the best of their ability and the sheets were clean. In general, the place is very rundown the rooms Looks like they had bachelor parties stains on the walls ceilings. Hard water stains on the curtains very poor shape. Only reason we stayed is cause we drove 11 hours and was 1030 at night needed a place to lay your heads. I’d be ashamed to have my name on the sign. I wonder how the Wyndham brand feels about it? very poor value.

Hotel smells, furnishings are disgusting, cock roaches in the bathroom, floor tiles coming off the floors….postage stamp size pillows. This is a horrible property inside. Exterior looks decent but it’s not. RUN to a real hotel.

My experience with was just Atrocious! Disappointing, worst ever. I couldn’t find ANY clean towels. They all had yellow stains or darkish stains. Asked for other towles… SAME ISSUE. First room smelled of mildew and there was an obvious stain on ceiling and mold on fridge door. They switched us rooms this one smelled a bit better but it was dusty and dirty also had to get wipes to wipe down my counters and toilet sear, same issue with towels. Wait there’s more! To top it off I found blood 🩸 stains on the comforter sheets I’m traumatized! The crazy thing is the front staff is actually sooo polite but Clearly the cleaning team is NASTY! Best hospitality by far the ladies at the front desk are top notch. They have free breakfast until 9, the lady made fresh for us. We loved playing the chess on the patio and the nice seating to lounge. The kids loved the pool and hot tub. The grills were great, the rooms smelt of freshly cleaned linens and bleached floors. All around great experience.

Lovely lobby and convenient location, however, all amenities were closed. Breakfast was available,but the weight room was closed, the laundry room equipment plus the soap dispenser were out of order, access to the outdoor area was closed, the ice machine was out of order and so was the weight room. When asked, the desk clerk said they were going to do major renovations. But no signs indicated that. The room was large, but outdated and not in good condition. The bottom of the refrigerator was rusted. We did not feel like this was a good choice at all. Very strange.
