Hawthorn Extended Stay by Wyndham Midland

Check in was nice, young lady was very sweet and made me feel welcomed immediately. Upon entering my room I noticed no soap was left so I had to request. Upon showering I went to use shampoo and a tiny drop came out, so it was basically left for me empty. The pillows on the bed were tiny and hard, resembled throw pillows. I had to go to the store to purchase my own to get any sleep. The breakfast was a joke so I avoided. The “mini mart” consisted of just a few items. If I have to travel out there again I would personally not stay here again but I wasn’t traumatized by any means.

Anyone that says the bed and pillows are great is lieing or fake. The beds come with 5 miniature pillows. The type you'd have on a living room couch or as a decoration on your bed. Location isnt ideal. Other then that it was ok but little pillows deserve one star. Super uncomfortable because of that.

Positive: Bargain price Negative: Car was towed because parking on one side of hotel is not allowed. Didn't see sign on arrival late at night.

I tried to stay a night there I seen something crawling on the bed next to me and so I've gotten up to see what it was . I couldn't quite see it so I then used my flashlight from my cellphone and discovered that it resembled a flea .so I then pulled the linen back from the bed I was laying in and discovered the same bugs but larger they were bedbugs. I connected the front desk they moved me to another room . He the front desk guy checked the beds at the 2st room and seen the same thing bedbugs and on to the next room he looked at the beds and didn't see anything there. I then showered and went to Walgreens to buy all types of sprays understand me this is serious ...I couldn't fathom the thought of being there so I then drove 2 hours in the early morning hours to be comfortable.and I was to

The room was clean and great. Great service. Had proper hot water, Good breakfast. Fast check in process.. Front desk was really helpful, sweet. The kitchen was great. They even provide whole kitchen utensils. Would definitely stay here for next time.
