Haven Island

Haven Island was amazing! What a beautiful spot on Lake Winter. The host thought of everything and the cabin did not disappoint. The cabin is cozy but very roomy, clean and comfortable. Walking the island was very enjoyable and pontoon rides so much fun! Best part was letting my dog out and not worrying he would run away! We had a cold spell but no worries made a camp fire, toasted up s’mores from the furnished s’more box and played games!

Clean, comfortable, amazing place, very relaxing. It was so nice to have an outside fire feeling the breeze listening to the quietness of it all gazing into space. Great place for boating and fishing, whether in the pontoon or off the pier or the multiple spots set up around the island. There were kayaks, a pontoon, a canoe, and a pedal boat for us to use. We only used the pontoon, which was amazing for sunset cruises. It did rain one day, but with the ample space inside, we made do and had a blast.. It is an island, and my spouse and I, in laws, and a few cousins were on it by ourselves, allowing us to reconnect as family.

This beautiful vacation home has it all, including your own private island! The owners truly thought of everything. Even things we didn't know we needed, like an original Nintendo for our late night Super Mario competitions. Fishing, pontooning, kayaking, hiking, campfires, s'mores, games, and stargazing, what more could you ask for? It is the perfect place for a group of friends to relax and get away from it all (literally). Thanks for the great time, Haven Island!

This cabin is one of my favorite places in Northern Wisconsin. Clean, rustic, cozy, and private. A beautiful getaway on an island that brings peaceful days and nights. Fishing is great as well. Don't pass this up! Spacious rooms, large kitchen, and an inviting rustic decor. There are fun things to do for all the family.

Amazing place. When you first step foot on this magical island you just know you are in for a fun, relaxing and chill time. What do you wanna do? Maybe go fishing? Maybe make a nice little campfire? Maybe sit inside the luxurious cabin and talk to yourself? How about a pontoon excursion? This island is your oyster. So much room for activities. The island is also perfect for removing yourself from what we call “society” and all the BS hierarchical stuff that is associated with it. This island gives you the tools to be your own boss. 10/10 would vacation again.
