Hatfield McCoy House

If you are in Williamson (or nearby areas), you want to come here. It is squeaky clean, private, quiet, and provides everything you need for a short or long-term stay. We were here for 4 nights and 5 days (didn't want to leave), and stayed in the Roseanna McCoy Room. The hostess and staff (Jessica and Gabby) are as friendly and hard-working as the day is long. We had a little dog with us, and she was made over like she just belonged here. The rooms are all beautiful, and leave you wanting to hear more of the Hatfield/McCoy story. There is a refrigerator in each room, so we bought picnic food, and grilled out on the deck, and swam in their crystal clear swimming pool. I enjoyed my business travel stay at the Hatfield McCoy House Inn due to the comfortable beds, quiet atmosphere, location, and pleasant community. I was given a choice of rooms after looking around the second floor. Quite a treat to be treated as a guest in a home rather than a number in an assembly line at chain hotels. The wifi wasn't 100% reliable so I was unable to complete all the work I wanted to, however, it forced me to look around and relax which made my stay more enjoyable. Would definitely stay again my next time traveling through. Starters was a great local restaurant and bar to further partake in the town atmosphere.

Beautiful home in a small historic town. The bed and breakfast is very clean and the rooms all have a unique atmosphere to them. Kitchenette is clean and there is a cute deck on the second level to enjoy the outside. The house is decorated in theme of the Hatfield McCoy fued! The owners are so hospitable and if you need anything they will be happy to help. Such a cozy and clean place I would recommend to everyone! Great stay.

The house was absolutely beautiful and decorated very nicely. It was very clean for the most part. The owners were very nice. My biggest complaint was we were told that we would have a kitchen that we could use. We were never showed a kitchen after we got there and never could find one. They did offer a breakfast of somewhat, that consist of cereal, donuts, apples and very small oranges. However, there were no milk for the cereal. It did give us a dry, clean place to sleep. But I don't think I will return.

When we arrived the owner was nowhere to be found. We came hundreds of miles and arrived an hour early. When we finally did get ahold of her she told us checkin was at 3 and to go grab a bite to eat. Now mind you there was only one other guest and the door was unlocked. The room I booked had the only guest there in it so they gave us the Devil Anse room. The door between the bedroom and bathroom was a slotted closet door which provided nooo privacy. We unpacked and settled in since we were planning on being there for 4 nights. Tues - sat. On thurs the owner sent me a text while we were out on the trails stating they were moving our stuff to a different room due to a leak. We actually came back early and moved our stuff.
