We stayed at Hart Springs Campground for two nights (Friday and Saturday) with our camper, two dogs, and five people in our group. The campground was peaceful, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. There are beautiful walking trails, including one that leads right to the springs – such a nice touch! The springs themselves are crystal clear and perfect for cooling off. Overall, our trip was wonderful, and we’ll definitely be back!
We stayed at Hart Springs RV Campground from November 3–24, 2024. We were in site 52, a standard back-in gravel site with full hook-ups and a bit of surrounding grass. We recommend putting down rugs for added comfort. The staff was very nice and welcoming, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Unfortunately, our visit was shortly after a hurricane had passed through the area. Because of that, the springs were closed for most of our stay and only reopened to campground guests the day before we left. While that was a bit disappointing, it was understandable given the timing. The campground offers several indoor amenities including bathrooms, laundry facilities, a pool, and a park house. Outdoors, there are plenty of activities for nature lovers and adventurers alike. When everything is
A couple fellas and I spent three nights at this lovely campground (1/5-1/8). The bathrooms were very nice and cleaned often. Everyone who was also camping there was very nice and friendly! Almost everyone had a cute and friendly dog, and we loved that! The trails were lovely to walk through and we even saw a baby gator! They offered firewood for sale and their sites have water & electric hookups. The path to the springs was very nice and the boardwalk was lovely! Despite being off season, the water was beautiful. We will definitely plan to come back here and recommend you do too!
This is a county park, but, wow, is it great! A big spring with swimming, it borders the Suwannee River. Really nice full hookups campground with plenty of space between the campsites. The park is located close to many other springs and state parks. Just a few miles from Chiefland where you can get gas, eat out, get groceries, etc. I suspect we will return here another year.
We spent a fantastic four nights at this beautiful campground and park. My family really enjoyed everything about this park. The sites are spacious and relatively private on the outside of the loop. The campground hosts were kind, personable folks who were very accomadating. We enjoyed playing in the spring (cold but you got used to it lol), having fun in the splash pad, and exploring the nature trails. There is a paved path, about a 10 or 15 minute walk, to the spring area and I recommend walking it at least once even if you have bikes or a golf cart. The wildlife and nature views are worth the extra steps! The bath house and laundry area were clean and well cared for and the pool was refreshing as well. I do wish they could come up with a better alternative to the paper bracelets we had
