Harrisonburg / Shenandoah Valley KOA Holiday

This is the gold standard of KOAs. Our first stay was in 2024 in one of thier cabins. It was stupendous. The cabin is well equipped, perfect for a family stay, and close to the restrooms (which are immaculate). We have now had the pleasure of staying at this KOA five times each one better than the last. The staff is friendly, attentive, and professional. The grounds are well kept and the amenities are abundant. We have now stayed utilizing a tent site (no hook-ups), the cabin, and the luxury cabin. All are worthwhile, but thr luxury cabin takes your stay to the next level. It is clean, well furnished, and worth the price point. From the moment we arrived we felt welcomed and knew the 7+ hour trip from Long Island was worth it! The entire staff team was super friendly and the cabins/grounds were immaculate. Our entire group had a great time the entire week. This is going on my list of favorite KOAs for sure!

We were not there during peak season so we did not fully take advantage of all the amenities. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We were especially taken with the beautiful chickens - not loud just cute. The camp was well laid out and organized. We enjoyed our site, being close to the restrooms and laundry room was great. Laundry room with 3 washers and dryers with a place sit. Everything was clean. We enjoyed our stay.

Amazing campground! From the staff to the grounds, the walking trails, the activities for the kids, the well stocked camp store, the golf cart delivered PIZZA……but most of all the quality of care we were shown this year (9/2025). We stay at this campground for my daughter’s birthday every year and this year the staff went above and beyond. My parents told the staff it was my daughter’s birthday and asked when the hay ride was, they said that it was closed. But, they opened it back up for her as a surprise. They not only opened it, they picked us up at our site and drove us around twice! On our adventure every campsite was yelling “HAPPY BIRTHDAY”!! It was so special! This place is great! Beautiful setting, amazing staff, some great amenities, and really all that you could ask for. The sites are snug, but you don't feel like you're sitting on top of your neighbors - so it's a good balance! We came with a 36ft bumper-pull and were able to navigate just fine. Road in is pretty windy, but it's worth the drive! Amazing place! We'll be back!
