An amazing place with such a history. You can feel the history in this place. Plus, the owner is absolutely the friendliest person you will ever meet. Love getting to stay here in our super clean room. Recommend this place to any traveler.

The Owner Sydney is awesome! This was my 2nd time staying here at this hotel. Imagine walking into the home that Forrest Gump's mom had all those visitors at while Forrest was growing up! That is exactly what this place is. There are too many rooms to count. Sydney is there to help with anything you may need- The rooms are very clean and well kept. The bathrooms are clean and accessible. In the room I stayed in there were so many books about history. I enjoyed thumbing through the encyclopedias as there aren't too many of them around since the internet has come along. This place is a hidden Gem in Nebraska, Don't miss out!

I super liked staying here. This is not luxury accommodation. This is a home really and the family has agreed to let people stay here. The room we stayed in was very comfortable with a big bathroom across the hall. The kitchen is self service and there was a good instruction sheet on how to use the coffee maker. I love the vibe of Harrison and that's because I'm country and proud of it. The only thing that threw me off a bit was the clutter. But I quickly acclimated and figured out this is a home with all that entails. It's an old historical building. If the walls could talk...wow. We met part of the family during breakfast and another guest. We used the microwave to heat our breakfast we had brought in our cooler. I really enjoyed this place and we plan to come back. This place is a living museum. The owner is a super sweet lady, ready to help with anything we needed. She also works the bar across the street for food and fun. There's admittedly not much in this town, but this BnB had everything we needed. Comfy beds, cozy and homey feel with tons of antiques and keepsakes from a bygone era. This BnB is like a time capsule. Would definitely recommend.

Harrison House was an unexpected pleasure in a remote part of Nebraska. It was built originally in 1886 by a now defunct railroad company and the building has all the charm of a bygone era of the American west. Sidney, the owner, is a gracious host and a brave woman to take on the upkeep and restoration of his lovely old building in a working cowboy town. Staying here is an authentic American experience in a real-life hard working Nebraska town.
