Harper Motel by Venserra

Our stay at the Harper Motel was quite delightful with lots of PROs. The staff was nice & very accommodating. The Fishing themed room was clean & the towels smelled crisp! Fridge, WiFi, microwave & HD Dish TV worked great. Water temp & pressure were also good. The only CONs are- if you shorter than 5'-8", than you'll need a Rolloff step stool to see mirror in bathroom and the mattress was just too firm & laminated for our taste.

This is our third stay at the Harper Motel and we will stay again. This motel has everything we need. It is clean, warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Comfortable bed and a small refrigerator and microwave. We truly just need a place to sleep and this is perfect for us. Highly recommended.

A clean, competent, no-frills motel. It’s in the “better than camping” tier of motels. Don’t expect shampoo (or even a bathroom counter) , a room key, or cleaning during your stay. My room was clean. I got a mini-fridge, microwave, desk, TV, A/C, double bed, and nightstand. My room neighbor said he didn’t have a nightstand. Bring your own extension cord if you want your phone charging and within reach of the bed. The bed had crinkly plastic over the mattress but it’s still comfortable. A good small-town restaurant is next door. No bugs this year. Last year when I stayed here I was treated to a black widow spider descending in front of my face as I tried to unlock my room, a broken lock, and a room that started at 85 degrees, but I gave them another chance this year because there is EV

Very well! The room was clean and practical. The bathroom although cold, was well maintained; practically newly remodeled. The TV was "internet only," which without local channels, was difficult to manage. NOTE: The TV kept being interrupted with a "low Power" instructions to use external power for the ROKU unit. The coffee pot was new, but had no instructions on how to use, so unless I owned one, I would have risked damaging the unit trying to utilize it. There were mosquitos and flies present in there room. Since my stay was only for one night, it was comfortable and without incident; just what I needed for the price I paid.

Clean, organized, Quiet. Everything one would want for a simple and complete nights sleep. Combine those characteristics with AFFORDABLE! Yeah, easy 5 stars. Thanks.
