Happy Trails Campground & Mini Motel

For a small town this was a great cozy campground. We stayed in the mini motel and for being small and affordable it was fairly well done. Even with the chilly night temps we stayed plenty warm. The beds were super comfy and the sheets and blankets were higher quality than I’ve gotten at major chain hotels. In the morning we got coffee at the office and sat in front of a fire with the site manager Kentucky Dave and little pupper Willow. He was welcoming and friendly. We would most definitely stay here again and would recommend it to family and friends. (Note: we got good Wifi signal from the mini motel rooms!)

If you are looking for fancy with lots of amenities this is not the place for you. If you are looking for a great community, large clean campsites and beautiful mountain desert views, you should stay here. Our group rented approximately 10 places, RV and Motel. Campsites are very large, we had 3 propane fire pits set up, camp chairs and cooked and fed approximately 25 people out our site. We love this campground. We Road 12 UTV’s right out of the campground and hit the trails. Beautiful rides, multiple lake stops, cliffs and overlooks. Still more for us to explore next trip. Dave the camp host is awesome and Is quick to help with any needs. The owners answered messenger questions within a few minutes. Fuel and ice are just down the street. If you have an EV *do not come here* The other RV park 5 miles away has 50 amp hook ups so you can charge. You get charged for a space & for EV charging, so be prepared for it to be expensive.

Awesome place for peace and quiet. Off road trails. Everyone I came across was nice. I didn't have a reservation and they fit me in.

Great RV Park in a stunning location with easy access to Lake Meade South Basin and Grand Canyon West.
