Happy Camper Rv Park

I am doing a class in Baker for an extended time so thought I would bring my camper instead of a lomg drive each week. I checked with the Baker campgrounds and the only one affordable did not have a shower or laundry. I was very lucky to find Happy Camper that is close to Baker! These guys have it all!! Even FREE laundry! This has been a life saver ! The only downside I would say is no picnic tables. So I wind up cooking on the tailgate of my truck. I also got the only spot next to some grass which makes it more relaxing than just dirt road. The shower rooms are big and always clean as well! The caretakers are amazing and even let me know about a severe storm coming through. I am so glad I found this campground !!!

Steward wasn’t onsite, but returned call and answered questions. Super nice and helpful. I arrived to find a clean and well maintained space. The showers/bathrooms were nice and super clean. There is cell service but no food or gas in town. So bring what you need or it’ll be a short drive. Thanks for the great stay.

Quiet night, very clean bathrooms and showers. For these reasons I’d give it 5 stars. We had Wi-Fi and phone service. But make no mistake you are camping on a gravel parking lot. No trees, no shade, no table no view. Plevna has no gas station or stores of any kind. We were the only campers there on a Wednesday night except the hosts who live on site. The state park in Ekalaka sounds beautiful but didn’t have any water at the present so this was the only other option. We were glad it was there and slept well.

They have full hook ups, very clean, updated or new bathrooms and laundry. They have Wi-Fi. No picnic tables, grills or fire pits, but the price is right!

Happy Camper RV Park is a gem in SE Montana. The on site managers, Lane and Patrick, provide southern hospitality and are so helpful. The shower rooms are wonderful and super clean. Although we have a nice shower in our motorhome, it was such a treat to shower in a big, walk in shower. The laundry room was immaculate, and free. The Plevna Bar is very family friendly and a good menu. We'd definitely stay here again.
