Hampton Motor Inn

From my experience it seemed to be okay. I stayed a week when an emergency came up. The Inn keeper, Chris, gladly took us in short notice and welcomed our pug. Though he seemed to be a bit like a busybody he was definitely nice. The TV was working good but there was no WiFi at the time I stayed.

There aren’t many options in this location and I needed to crash for the night. They must have pulled up all the carpets and replaced them with cheap wood laminate flooring. At least the floor seemed clean, but I definitely kept my socks on. I’m not sure why the water is so laden with red sediment but this has stained the tub and toilet badly. I woke up in the middle of the night and had quite a shock when it seemed the toilet bowl was full of blood. A bad knocking noise came from the BR fan/light, but there is a 2nd fixture/switch. All of this being said, I got exactly what I needed for $59, and slept pretty well on a decent mattress. The attendant also stayed open a bit late for my after hours arrival and gave me a good tip re: the satellite TV which worked great. The inn ain’t a

This place is horrible. It was not clean. The flooring was not attached properly and was wavy and made loud sounds when I walked. The place needs a major update. The bathtub is discolored from the heavy water. The outlet in the room did not work and there was only one plug to charge phone, laptop etc and it was behind the TV. No plug anywhere near the bed. The bedding and towels were old and were clean but did not smell fresh. I did not want to touch the floor or the bedding. I would never stay there again and I would not recommend it at all for anybody. The internet was slow and I did not have cell phone reception in the room. Had to move towards the door or go outside to send a text.

In a remote place with nothing and barely have any signal for tv or wifi. Am not sure by what standards this place is good.. must be a family or friend that keeps reviewing it as good. Were not very picky but the minute I walked in I had an eerie feeling and was itchy everywhere. We had a bug in our bed. There was hair hanging off the lamp and dust on the tv unit. The bathroom was disgusting and I wouldn't dare walk barefoot in that room. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. It was way to expensive for what u were getting. Wouldn't dare sleep there. Sorry but this is my opinion and hope you all take this advise it will save you money and disappointment.

The motel had no electrical outlets in the bathroom (ladies take note). How can a gal use a hair dryer? I asked for an extension cord but was told they had none. We had booked two rooms and both had the same problem. After I complained to the owner he came over later with extension cords. He had to unplug the TV to have an outlet. I could not use my laptop or charge my cell phone. There was no coffee available anywhere, only a microwave to make hot water for instant coffee which I always bring along. To find the owner when he is not in the office look for the door with the No Trespassing sign on it. That should tell you something about him.
