Hampton Inn Winfield

So nice, we stayed twice! Winfield was the halfway point from our home to our vacation destination. Its very convenient location right off the interstate made finding it simple. The entire staff was professional and helpful, and check-in and check-out were a breeze. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I enjoyed the towel elephant in the bathroom, also!

We were hesitant to make the reservation due to the costly rates, however it was conveniently on our route home & we were told over the phone we would be in a newly renovated room. The entire hotel is under renovation-only the check in desk is accessible. The room we were assigned was barely usable-|no toilet paper dispenser or light fixture over the sink. The breakfast space was a small conference room & NO public restroom! |We have never paid this much to stay in a nice Hampton Inn much less one in such a /dangerous condition.

Winfield is a small community with a couple of gas stations and restaurants and a Hampton Inn that is as great place to spend the night. Very clean and well kept, pleasan6 staff providing excellent service, and a hot breakfast. Exactly what we needed after driving for 8 hours.

I really liked the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable and smelled nice with no underlying scents. The water pressure in the shower was good. I really liked the couch in the room and the placement of the furniture. The bed and pillows were comfortable. I was completely enjoying my stay until 8:45 in the morning. I just got out of the shower and there was a knock at the door. My husband answered it. It was housekeeping checking to see if we checked out yet. She did apologize, but it was extremely rude. She could have waited until 11:00 (check out time) or asked the front desk if we had left. Breakfast did have lots of options, but the hot food was lacking. The cheese omelette was fine. The sausage was too hard to cut with the plastic fork and knife. I had to tear it with my hands. It
