Customer Reviews
The customer service is phenomenal! We checked in yesterday for New Years Eve and Jose checked us in along with my boyfriend. He was very kind and provided professional as well as exceptional customer service. Promote him !! Other wise, the room was clean and spotless. The location is great. I like all the amenities. Will definitely come back and Jose made it better with his cozy home like hospitality.
This hotel has a few strong positives, but also some serious issues that really need attention. On the positive side, the location is excellent, with very easy access to the highway and convenient proximity to Newton and Yardley. The breakfast was very good, and the breakfast staff was genuinely friendly, warm, and attentive, which was appreciated each morning.||The rooms themselves were clean, and the beds were comfortable, which helped with getting a good night’s sleep. However, the rooms were also very dark, several of the window shades were broken, and the bathroom tub was pitted with rust marks, which made it feel worn and poorly maintained.||Unfortunately, the negatives were hard to overlook. The hallway carpets were extremely dirty, and the area outside the third-floor elevator was
Starting with the rooms: as my niece put it “they smelled like wet dogs”. All our clothes brought this smell home with us, yuck. Others in our wedding party shared similar room smell challenges (across both wings and multiple floors). Lobby: they seemed to have all these scent machines around the lobby and halls. Black boxes plugged in along the floor. Can’t say the scent was actually pleasant. Gave the impression the hotel was trying to cover up the wet dog smell in the rooms. One wonders why the wet dog smell…couldn’t be from a flood because the smell was in rooms on different floors. Bad room ventilation…maybe, our room never seemed to dry out after showers. What else would cause that smell? Location was favorable for our trip, but think we would rather go out of our way to avoid this
Positive: The people at the front desk were helpful. The housekeeping staff was friendly. Negative: It needs another towel bar in the washroom. The shower head is very high and the pressure of the water is only medium. The toilet is very low.
Whoever decided to NOT replace the bathtubs when the rooms were remodeled should be fired. The tub floor has a bizarre curve that prevents you from standing securely. Thank goodness for the hand rail. |On another note, please get rid of the air freshener that permeates the hallways. ||But most importantly, REPLACE that ancient elevator. I stepped into it to go down and the entire elevator wobbled. Thank goodness that it was only 3 floors. ||The second worse Hilton branded hotel location I’ve stayed at.
