Hampton Inn & Suites Lino Lakes

Positive: I liked the freedom to come in from the back door and go straight to the elevator with no hassles from anyone and the privacy. Negative: I did not like that the sauna was out of commission and I was even sadder to find out that they were talking about getting ride of it completely do to the fact that it was seti g off there new high end over engineered fire alarm system that nobody can fix

Staff is helpful and pleasant. Hotel is clean but outdated. Couch was stained with all kinds of old wet spots and bed was uncomfortable. Very spacious room. Whirlpool tub is awkward to get into but nice. Pool is nice as well.

The stay was okay and the breakfast was good. The staff was extra slow when I asked to add a day to the reservation and when I called to get my receipt after the stay the people that work at the hotel cannot provide me with one without sending me to an outsourced call center. They don’t check us in and can’t check us out properly. What are they even there for?

The location is quiet and peaceful on the outside, but the hotel is not. My room on the top floor was noisy. There was a fan or motor running all night. I used ear plugs and slept a few hours. The room was worn and smelled of sweat and spilled liquor. Opening a window would certainly help, but they are all sealed shut. The steel spring mattress was uncomfortable. I noticed a couple of good things. The receptionist was friendly. Breakfast was plentiful. AC, TV and bathroom worked as expected.

Friendly, welcoming staff in a Hampton Inn which is in serious need of renovation. Carpet is worn and outdated as is the wallpaper. Ceiling in the room we stayed in was popcorn ceiling. Furniture is quite worn. The saving grace is that the front office staff is responsive and welcoming. The first room we stayed in had a malfunctioning A/C such that is made the sound of a fan hitting a metal object. When after an hour of trying to sleep, I called the front office, we were quickly moved to another room. In the second room, the refrigerator didn’t work unless you reset the GFI.
