Our experience started out poorly. We had reserved an accessible room for my sister in law (who was in town for her son's funeral). We were told when we arrived that we couldn't have it because it wasn't available. Instead we got a "hearing accessible" room. It had a light that blinked if someone rang the doorbell. This was of no help at all! We showed the print out of the reservation we had that called showed an Accessible room, but she just shrugged and said there was nothing she could do. We had also requested late check out on our last day, and were told on the phone that it would be no problem. I am a Hilton Honors Diamond member, and as such I enjoy staying at different hotel properties across the Hilton portfolio. I decided to visit Huntington and chose this hotel. As I always do, I checked in on the Hilton app the day before arrival, and chose my room.||Arriving by LIRR, I took Uber to the hotel. I found the place to be clean and inviting, and I went right to my chosen room with the Digital Key. I later returned to the front desk to get my spring water and other refreshments from the small market area, which the front desk staff was very helpful in making sure I had what I wanted.||No issues with the room...... climate control, TV, and WiFi worked fine. AMAZING stay with AMAZING service. My dad and I had a concert to go to at the Paramount Theater, which was literally like a five minute walk away, so we decided to stay here. The cost of the stay was an exceptional bargain considering location, friendliness, cleanliness, and quality. You could feel the care from every smiling face you encountered on every member of the staff. I could sit here and thank every kind employee we met by name, but that would make this review too long, so I'd say just book a visit and meet them for yourself!

This is my go to hotel. The customer service is topnotch! Nathalie Tolentino, once again helped me with getting the room that best fits my needs for my 11/30/25 stay. She always listens to what I have to say and takes care of my hotel needs. Joselyn Torres is also amazing. She was able to get me into my room earlier than planned due to my arrival time. Joselyn and Nathalie are both very helpful and sincere. Nathalie and Joselyn are amazing hotels representatives for the Hampton Inn & Suites Huntington Downtown. This is a major reason why I love coming to this hotel. Excellent customer service.

Just stayed here the other day for a wedding party in Huntington. One reason we chose to stay here was because upon booking, the representative had agreed to allow us to take our bridal photos in their hotel lounge area. While we were taking said pictures, we were constantly nagged by a rude manager that was giving us dirty looks and scolding us for shifting a few chairs around. She scolded us like children for shutting the tv off for a picture (sorry lady, basketball games dont make a good background for wedding pictures!!!). Please note there were no other people in the lounge with us, we were not bothering anybody and were absolutely planning on putting everything back the way it was. Now to the room- it may as well be no walls between the rooms with how easily it is to hear your neig
