Hampton Inn & Suites Guthrie

Second visit within a week and both experiences were great. Excellent customer service. Trevin was polite, friendly, and helpful each visit. Pet friendly hotel with reasonable fees. Avoid OKC and stay here in Guthrie. Great local restaurant options available nearby. Plenty of parking when traveling with a trailer.

Hilton what is going on? This hotel is dirty. Smelled terrible in elevator and in hallways. Floors/carpet were filthy with stains and unknown substances. There was mold in the shower. I have stayed at Hampton inns before but this one has gone down hill. There needs to be a change in management. We only stayed here one night checked out early the next day. It’s poorly run. Not up to Hilton standards.

Positive: Breakfast was decent Negative: The 1st room reeked of URINE, the curtain were broke, the nightstand was no longer attached to the wall & the drawer will not stay in, my daughter racked her leg on that, the carpet was damp. Room #2 Remote taped closed, mold on base boards, JUST AWFUL!!

I’m here at 5 AM at this roadside hotel in one of the worst parts of the country, and you would think that these people would have the common sense to have some coffee ready to serve to their weary traveler guests. No. They don’t. If you ask about coffee at the front desk, they’ll tell you it’s brewing and it won’t be ready for an hour! Unreal. You would have to be one of the worst and least effective hotel managers or employee employees in the world to not realize that people staying at the Hampton Inn on the side of the I 35 in dumpy Oklahoma want coffee in the morning. that’s all they want. They want a bed and they want coffee in the morning and you failed. Management here needs to get into another business because running hotels is obviously too difficult for them.

A well maintained, and fairly typical Hampton Inn. However, the staff on site while we were there (2 nights) were excellent. To a person, every staff member we encountered was engaged, competent and seemed determined to make our stay pleasant. They were more typical of a high end hotel, not a mass-market facility.
