Hampton Inn & Suites Ft. Lauderdale Airport/South Cruise Port

This property is in a great location. Easy access to the highway and lots of retail options nearby within walking distance. Room was clean, and building is well maintained. Breakfast was also good. The only bad thing was the parking. If you come late at night there isn't a place for you to park. I was here for 4 days and there were cars that didn't move an inch. Do people just leave it there even if they are not staying here?

Very nice room, which was an upgrade kindly offered because we arrived early and our booked room was still being prepared. Staff was very efficient and polite throughout our stay. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included and had plenty of healthy choices and delicious options. We stayed only for one night prior to a cruise. Definitely would recommend.

Positive: Free shuttle from airport; reasonably priced shuttle service to cruise port; free breakfast. Negative: I reserved a suite with a king bead and double pull out sofa bed, but I got two beds instead. My husband, who has traveled a lot on business says it is typical to get a room that does not match the reservation. It all worked out, we were fine.

I stayed at the Hampton from December 26, 2025 through January 2, 2026. I would first like to commend the front desk staff and management. Mr. Ryan, along with Ms. Elicia and Ms. Vernesha, were some of the most professional, courteous, and welcoming individuals I have ever encountered at a hotel. Their customer service truly stood out. While the staff was exceptional, my room experienced several maintenance issues throughout my stay. On the first day, I noticed the carpet was wet from the air conditioner area to where the refrigerator sat. I initially thought the carpet may have been shampooed prior to our arrival. We received excellent customer service, a smiles from Dauquon, Alicia, and Ryan. Breakfast was set up from the heart by Yomeidi, she's very hard working and took pride in making sure items were stocked, and clean. Housekeeping did a phenomenal job keeping the room, and hallways tidy. I felt safe at this location. Thanks team.
